ICSB GLOBAL AWARD Nominations in Cairo, Egypt

The following is an overview of the submission process for the Entrepreneurship Center Global Impact Award and the Undergraduate and Graduate Education Excellence Awards. This application begins with a nomination of the Center. Self-nominations are encouraged. 

These initial nominations require a brief nominee information packet, which includes all the information described below. Finalists are chosen by the ICSB Global Award Committee and are notified via email. Those selected as finalists can then submit additional documents and commit to presenting their program at the ICSB Congress in Cairo, either in person or online.

Finalists who do not present at the congress in person or online are disqualified. Registration (one per center) is required to be a finalist, and the presentation can be done in-person or online.

Typically, the ICSB Global Awards Committee receives numerous nominations for each award. As a result, a specific center may not be selected as a finalist. Applicants are advised that any organization or individual may submit nominations in more than one category. However, no organization or individual may be a finalist in more than one category in any particular year. 

application Guidelines:

As the quality of applications ICSB  receives is exemplary, one or more truly outstanding organizations or individuals may be nominated for a particular award and not receive it. To deal with this possibility as effectively and as fairly as possible, the following guidelines have been established:

  • The finalists for each award will be announced to the membership of ICSB and the public.
  • The names of all other nominees will be kept confidential.
  • All non-winning nominees, including the non-winning International Finalist, will be informed of how they could strengthen their applications for the following years.
  • All non-winning nominees, including the non-winning International Finalist, may submit re-applications for a particular award. There is no prescribed period that any nominee must wait before resubmitting their nomination materials for any award. However, award winners may not reapply in the same category for a period of ten years.

Nominee information packet:

Nominees must submit an executive summary, no more than 11 pages, that contains the following information. The deadline for initial submissions is October 20th, 2025.

The title page should contain:

  • The name of the individual or school (center) being nominated
  • The award for which the individual or school is being nominated
  • The name of the person submitting the nomination
  • The name, address, phone number, and email of a person who can provide any additional materials needed
  • The purpose and/or mission of the nominated center
  • The primary objectives of the center.
  • The principal stakeholders the center is designed to serve
  • Unique aspects and features of the center
  • Examples of the Center’s impact on the local ecosystem and metrics of evaluation (show impact)
  • Can the center share its best practices globally and how (transfer of knowledge)
  • Sources of funding and/or support for the center
  • Submitted via the online system in PDF format
  • A letter from the Dean supporting this nomination
  • The award winners must commit to being available to judge the year following the award and at least two more times in the next five years. 

Submission of Initial Nomination Materials:

Initial nomination materials must be submitted via the application form below by October 20th, 2025

Finalists will be notified by October 24th to prepare for the final presentations.

Submission of Finalist Materials:

If selected as a finalist, a second packet of materials, or the Final Nomination Package, elaborating on the initial nomination executive summary, can be submitted.

The final nomination package should contain the following items:

  • No more than 11 pages of an executive summary of the center
  • Presentation slides submitted in PowerPoint format to be shared at the finalist presentations at the annual conference. The slides should summarize the key aspects of the center and discuss how these aspects align with the primary Entrepreneurship Center Global Impact criteria. This information must be submitted in PowerPoint format.

Submission of Final Nomination Package:

The final nomination package must be submitted via email to info@icsb.org by November 14, 2025, for the Cairo Presentation.

 
 

Nomination for ICSB 2025 Entrepreneurship Center Global Impact Award

The ICSB Global Impact Award for Best Entrepreneurship Center holds immense significance as it aims to acknowledge and celebrate recipients who have made remarkable strides in the field of entrepreneurship. This prestigious global award recognizes centers that demonstrate a strong alignment with and advancement of key attributes, including quality, innovation, impact, and scalability.

The evaluation of nominated candidates for this prestigious award follows a rigorous and comprehensive process. It focuses on assessing the extent to which the candidates embody these essential qualities and contribute to the future of entrepreneurship. The evaluation criteria include:

The Awards Committee, responsible for the selection process, will identify and notify the finalists by email on October 24th, 2025. It is an esteemed honor to be chosen as a finalist, as it signifies recognition of outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship teachings.

Quality: The center’s committed to maintaining excellence in all its programs and initiatives.

Innovation: The center’s ability to foster and implement groundbreaking ideas and approaches that push the boundaries of traditional entrepreneurship.

Impact: The center’s measurable and transformative influence on its target population and the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Scalability: The center’s potential for expanding its successful practices, strategies, and methodologies to benefit entrepreneurs and communities beyond its immediate reach.

These criteria highlight the importance of continuous improvement, forward-thinking strategies, and a focus on creating a positive and lasting impact. By evaluating candidates based on these factors, the award showcases the exciting future ahead for entrepreneurship. It celebrates centers that are leading the way in driving meaningful change and innovation in this dynamic field.

Nomination for ICSB 2025 Education Excellence Award (Undergraduate and Graduate)

ICSB Global Awards in Entrepreneurship Education Excellence have been established to honor exceptional achievements in entrepreneurship education at the programmatic level. These prestigious awards are divided into two categories: one for undergraduate programs and another for graduate programs.

The winners of these esteemed awards will be unveiled at the highly anticipated ICSB 2025 World Congress, set to take place in Cairo, Egypt.

The Pedagogy Awards Committee, responsible for the selection process, will identify and notify the finalists by email on October 24th, 2025. It is an esteemed honor to be chosen as a finalist, as it signifies recognition of outstanding contributions to entrepreneurship education.

ICSB seeks to ensure that the Global Award recipients epitomize excellence in entrepreneurship education, incorporating innovative and impactful practices that align with the evolving landscape of entrepreneurial education.

The announcement of the winners at the ICSB 2025 World Congress will serve as a celebration of the remarkable accomplishments and advancements made in entrepreneurship education, inspiring further excellence and innovation in this vital field.

Criteria for the Entrepreneurship Education Excellence Award:

1. Program’s novelty and creativity. How is this program actively initiating new, innovative, and humanely focused ways of operating?

2. Measurable impact on the programs’ students. How has this program altered the students’ experience? What data is shown to indicate this impact?

3. Impact on society. How is this program reimagining the educational experience of the next generation of entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators?

4. Program’s replicability in other parts of the world. How might this program’s philosophy or operation be transmitted and/or promoted elsewhere throughout the global entrepreneurship community.
